OUR PHILOSOPHY
Tracecraft Special Investigations, LLC is a unique investigations firm. We are rare because we care about pushing ourselves to perform at a level many of our competitors are unable or unwilling to match. There really is no magic formula. We do it by working hard for you because we would want the same if the roles were reversed. While there are many good private investigators and investigative agencies, the average firm may be primarily concerned with "churning out cases." We have a vastly different philosophy regarding our investigative approach. We strive to consistently operate far above all 'similar' firms because we care about our clients, their concerns, their reputations, their goals and objectives, and, ultimately, helping them to achieve the absolute best possible positive outcomes to meet their specific needs. Everyone needs a hand from time-to-time, and we will be here for you when you do...
So, in particular, why are we "special?" Here is one specific example which encapsulates much of our investigative philosophy in all that we do: We will not conduct what many call a "comprehensive background investigation" by simply subscribing to a public information database and regurgitating to our clients what information we are provided by the vendor. This is NOT a comprehensive background investigation... We will use these services as a baseline for a compass heading; however, any information we receive, we will do our absolute best to validate by seeking corroborating evidence to ensure that what we report back to our clients is as accurate as possible. We accomplish this by conducting professional field work. We are seekers of information and, more importantly, the truth. Many typical private investigators will sit at a desk behind a computer all day and review information which is publicly available on the Internet. This is fine if you want a superficial investigation completed. At Tracecraft Special Investigations, LLC, we believe you deserve much more. We believe in leaving the office, going out in the field, and putting eyes on whatever the subject of interest may be to gather as much information as possible. Just because an "investigator" saw something on Google "Streetview" does not mean what they saw on the computer is consistent with reality.
Consider the immense difference between a vacation guide describing the Alps and actually going to Europe and physically hiking in the Alps. The granular detail you get from going somewhere makes a dramatic difference in what you learn and how you are enriched by the experience and the information you absorb. In the context of an investigation, often the only way to really know something with any degree of certainty is to conduct advance computer research, then physically go to the location, experience the environment, make careful observations, conduct interviews, utilize sophisticated investigative techniques, gather evidence, and synthesize any available findings prior to reporting back to a client. Of course, this often takes time and a significant degree of energy and effort. Because of the world we live in, answers are often desired and expected immediately. We understand this and will work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, however, in the real world, impatience often leads to faulty, incomplete, or even worse...receipt of "bad information."
Receiving bad information has consequences. We do not believe a client should have to accept bad information in any type of investigation particularly when they are probably already dealing with a negative set of circumstances which is why they sought help in the first place. Receiving and acting upon bad information will generally only exacerbate whatever problem you may be facing. At Tracecraft Special Investigations, LLC, we believe in a careful, thorough, methodical investigative approach. It may be slower, and you may have to have some degree of patience; however, the results will speak volumes and you will be in a radically better position to make an educated and informed decision about how to move forward.
You may be thinking: "Well that's great...but 'special?' How much different can this company really be?" Here is our response: If you want cookie-cutter work done, look elsewhere. We do not operate in the "cookie-cutter" space. If you are trying to cut corners to save money and achieve a particular outcome or result by requesting a half-hearted investigation, then we are probably not the right firm for you. However, if you want it done right, and you are looking for an investigative firm that will be available to you, return your calls promptly, behave professionally with punctuality, reliability, honesty, integrity, and discretion, treat you with dignity and respect, demonstrate genuine concern for you and your affairs, custom-tailor their investigative activities with confidence to fit your needs, consistently go the extra mile, write well-written reports, work highly complex cases, provide you with nearly three decades-worth of real-world state and federal investigative experience, give you exceptional value in exchange for fair compensation, advise you, counsel you, and tell you the truth...even when it hurts, then we are that investigative agency...and yes, in today's world, we believe that is something special indeed.
